The first route suggested is no less exciting than the others, even though it remains around the coasts of Lefkada. We will visit numerous small islands (some uninhabited), enchanting places not well known to the majority of tourists, ancient villages stopped in time with many small shops. All of these places will make you forget the busy life you lead...
In this route we will pass through the middle of the natural park where the stenelle dolphins reside.
They are a particular species with spotted skin, slightly smaller than other dolphins also present in the Ionian Sea. We have met them frequently as the dolphins are mammals and their nature is playful and love to be pushed to prow from the waves produced by the Maddalena.
They also love to hear the excited voices of the guests on board and joyfully display incredible water acrobatics!
Along this route it will be possible to visit the numerous caves of Lefkada and Meganisi Island also thanks to our equipment and our tender, the sea beds which will allow snorkelling are numerous, furthermore we will visit the Northern part of Cefalonia and we will sail around Itaca Island, also splendid for the sea and the rock formations which encircle the island. A very important factor about this route its always possible to be sheltered from the "high" sea, it is the most flexible route and we suggest it to guests who could be seasick.
The port of departure is Lefkada city, chosen to avoid the necessity of taking other transportation to reach our caicco.
The best well-known places we visit are Lefkas, Sivota, The bay of Poros (Lefkas), Meganisi, Skorpios, Formicola, Arcoudi, Fiscardo (Cephalonia), and all of Ithaca.

The second route we suggest visits similar places as the first one, but it sails towards the West, therefore less time will be spent in the dolphin's park in favour of Cephalonia's coasts and reefs and when it is possible also the West coast of Lefkas. In these places you will be able to admire and enjoy the famous beaches, considered to be the most beautiful in Greece, a result of the unity between rocks and the thick sands, the sea in these places exhibits colors which seem incredible, the colour shades of the water range from a deep blue to white thanks to the erosion of the calcareous and sulphuric rocks by the sea. This route requires extra hours of sailing in order to allow you to visit such splendid places. It is surely the right combination between relaxation and activities during both day and night.
The port of departure is Nikiana, located almost 10km from the main city of Lefkas. The interesting places to visit are: the Southern and North Western parts of Lefkas, the North and West of Cephalonia, the stupendous beaches born from wind erosion on the rocky coast of the sea, Ithaca, and many of the small islands West of Lefkas, included are of course Skorpios and Meganisssi.

The third route suggested includes in our itinerary also the marvellous island of Zante of which a lot has been written. It is the longest route and suggested to guests who want to spend more time aboard our Maddalena, in fact when sailing towards Zante, there is a stretch of sea exposed to the winds where we could run the risk of having to change route. On the other hand, how can we resist one of the most enchanting beaches in the world, the one with the relict exposed to West, to the caves in the Northern tip of Zante and to the bay....where we meet the sea turtles (careta careta) in a few meters of water while they wait for the night time to lay their eggs on the beach!
This is surely a beautiful itinerary, but it is necessary to keep in mind that we are going to spend more time sailing and there is also the risk of a sudden change of itinerary. It is suggested to guests capable to make decisions together, naturally however, the ultimate decision is taken by the captain. In this case, upon request, it is possible to embark at Sani (Cephalonia) where the ferry from Bary (Italy) arrives and departs regularly. Departure could also be from Nkiana,10km for Lefkas city.
Places of interest visited: the Navagio Beach (known as the beach of the relic), the beaches of Gerakas, Kalamaki Loganas (the beach of the turtles).
